Gulfport Main Office - Board of Supervisors
The Office of the Board of Supervisors schedules the meetings of the Board, as well as preparing the proposed agendas, containing all documents and exhibits for each meeting and the official agendas. They are responsible for handling correspondence for the Board members, as well as public inquiries for County information.
Board Meetings
As mandated by State statute, the Board of Supervisors meets on the first Monday of each month in the Board Meeting Room at the First Judicial District Courthouse in Gulfport. They also meet on the second Monday of each month in the Board Meeting Room at the Second Judicial District Courthouse in Biloxi. If a regular scheduled meeting falls on a holiday, the Board meets on the next working day following the holiday. The Board also schedules additional meetings as they deem necessary to handle pertinent County business and in the case of emergencies.
All meetings begin at 9:30 a.m., unless otherwise announced.
Meetings of the Board of Supervisors are open to the general public.
Official Agendas
The "official agenda" is a brief listing of matters discussed and acted upon by the Board of Supervisors at each meeting. This is compiled by the Board Office staff and is used as a research tool in order to locate specific Board actions.
